Decision guide · Why Mendoza

A wine country wedding, without the twelve-hour flight from Tuscany

An international destination with the landscape of the high mountains, the wine culture of Malbec country and a hospitality tradition your guests will actually remember.

  • Easy to reach

Mendoza International Airport (MDZ) is one connection from most major cities, typically via Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires or São Paulo. From the US, Miami and Dallas connect in Santiago the same day; from Europe, Madrid, Paris and Frankfurt connect via São Paulo. The airport is 20–30 minutes from the city center. From downtown Mendoza to Gualtallary: 87 km (about an hour and a half of road) — the trip becomes part of the experience, not a hurdle.

  • Sun almost all year

Mendoza is a semi-arid climate with roughly 300 days of sun a year. The outdoor wedding format works from October through April. November and the harvest window (February to April) are the most requested; every season carries its own visual identity in the vineyard.

  • The capital of Argentine wine

Mendoza sits among the recognized Great Wine Capitals of the world, and the Uco Valley is its most awarded region. Marrying among the vines here is not set dressing — it is the actual origin of the wine poured at your reception.

  • A destination that carries a whole weekend

Mountains, gastronomy, wineries, a walkable city center: your guests turn the wedding into a proper trip. It is the destination the Wedding Weekend format was built for.

  • Value your guests can feel

For couples pricing in US dollars or euros, Argentina typically delivers a quality-to-investment ratio that is difficult to match in comparable European wine regions — in the celebration itself, the accommodation and the guest experience.

  • Safe and used to international travellers

Mendoza is a calm city with a mature wine-tourism infrastructure — a destination where families of every generation move comfortably between the city center, the vineyards and the mountains.

  • English on the ground

Our commercial team, the venue team and the group's hotels operate in English. Your guests are welcomed in a language they understand, in a country that knows how to host international weddings.
